The Poggenburg

The Poggenburg hotel and estate was built and owned privately by Gene’s great-grandfather, Henry F. Poggenburg and later inherited by his grandfather, John George “JG” Grill.  It was adjacent to the community property owned by members of the Elka Park Association, near Tannersville in the Catskill Mountains of New York State.
